Log Emails Sent with the Send Email Action

One of the most underrated flow updates released in the Summer 23, has to be the availability to log automated emails sent from flows via the Email action.

Previously in historic projects I’ve spent way too much time adding additional steps to flows to create tasks to record automated emails.

With this new feature in place, all it takes is 3 easy steps to record your emails against any record you like.

Step 1: Set the Log Email on Send to True to activate the feature.

Step 2: Assign your Recipient Id (Lead or Contact Id)

Step 3: If you wish to assign the logged activity of your email against another record (Not Lead or Contact), populate the related record Id with the record of choice.

Now you’re all set to track your automated emails issued to your clients/ customers. This gives you better visibility of all your client facing communications.
